All Around the World : Sisters Edition

Join My People, My Purpose for a special sisters-only evening centered around culture, connection, learning, and sisterhood.

This event is designed to bring sisters from different cultural backgrounds together so that we can learn more about one another, strengthen our community, and build greater cultural awareness within the Muslim community.

We encourage each sister to come dressed in cultural attire that represents her background and, if possible, bring a halal dish connected to her culture to share with the group.

During the evening, sisters will also have the opportunity to briefly share:

• A fun or interesting fact about their culture

• A way Islam has influenced or shaped their culture
